Fed Signals June Rate Cut "Increasingly Likely" as Inflation Cools

Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller stated Friday that "the data is moving in the right direction" for a June rate cut. Core PCE inflation came in at 2.4% year-over-year, down from 2.7% in January.

Regional banks (KRE) jumped 4.2% on Friday. The bond market is pricing in a 78% probability of a 25bp cut in June.
